CAMBRIDGE DIET

Today I am going to share something with you which is pretty personal to me but I want to share it with you guys as further motivation. I have around 4 stone to lose. I am 5ft3 and a size 12/14 and my BMI is getting dangerously high - if things were to continue the way they were, I would be considered obese in the next few years.

After many diets, fad diets and going to the gym, I wasn't seeing the results I wanted so I decided to look into alternatives. I came across the Cambridge diet.

The Cambridge diet works by putting you on a controlled calorie controlled soup and shake diet. I will be having 3/4 shakes/soups per day and a weekly meeting with my lovely Cambridge councellor. I will also be continuing to go to the gym 3-4 times per week.

I have heard many stories of the Cambridge diet changing people's lives and as long as you continue on a healthy diet and exercise regime after, the weight will stay off.

I have a long way to go, it's my first day today and I feel great. The shakes and soups taste lovely (So far tried Banana, Leek and Potato and Chocolate) so I feel positive and I look forward to feeling confident about myself for the first time in years!

I will continue to update you on a weekly basis - on a Monday as this is when my session is with my councellor.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to posting the after photo in a few months time ;) xxx

  1. Wow, 4 stone sounds like a lot for someone your height & size! I'm also 5'3" and a size 12 and losing 4 stone would put me very underweight. Not trying to be difficult, was just shocked by how much you plan to lose.

  2. I am overweight at the moment with a BMI of 30. You have to be overweight to be able to do the diet. Rest assured that I do have 3 or 4 stone to lose to be considered healthy. I do not look my weight, and its just proportioned over my body well. Plus I don't wear jeans and I think my size would be bigger if I didn't wear the clothes I wear.
